Here a short, review for the LZ A7:
What should I say, the LZ A7 is a really good IEM for the price. It does manage well in almost every technical aspect: treble has a very good amount of splash and sizzle and extends very well. Upper mids are similar detailed and do manage to center stage female Vocals well, even with a not optimal amplifier. Mids are similar in detail, however the Staging of male vocals is not as good as it is with the upper mids. A good amplifier improves on this, but still doesn't manage to reach H40 levels of Staging. Lower mids are smooth, maybe a bit dry. And this trend does continue with the mid bass: dry, but definitely with a good amount of texture. Sub bass however is very good, a bit more pronounced than the mid bass and it extends all the way down to the lower end of my hearing capability. Sound Stage is between good and ok, not H40 levels in width and depth but there still is enough to not feel "small". Especially the depth perception does work pretty good. Imaging does definitely scale with the amplifier: it wasn't good with my smartphone, became good with the BTR5 and even a bit better with my SP200. To be clear, it is not good enough to be called "very good" for the price, as again the H40 does simply a better job for a good amount less. Where the A7 shine however is in the instrument separation, which is very good and easily beats most of the stuff I heared so far. Laying is good, but not great.
So just for the sound I would definitely recommend it, it has a very good technical performance and the tuning options allow you to "make it your own": 5 filters and a dip switch allow you tunings from flat (red filter) to painfully sharp (silver or blue filter) with V Shape sound in between. I did end up with the red filter and "monitor" mod, but most people will probably gravitate towards gold or even black with "pop mode" as that is way more fun.
Build is very good, no complaints here, even though I'm still not sure what material the IEM is...?
I did make a full video review about it, which I'm not sure is ok to share here? If so, I'll link it later on.
