I got the purple Blons BL-03 in the lucky bag promo from linsoul. You can buy them here: Blon Bl-03 Purple
Music I use to test audio here.
In the box
The package comes with the following:
- One canvas pouch.
- One black cable dual 2 pins to 3.5 mm trs.
- A set of tips.
Fit and finish
The Blons have a deep purple glittery paint similar to car paint without the final gloss coat. The paint seems to be durable and has remained scratch-free since I got them. The body of the blons is made of metal in two parts. The nozzle is very small in diameter and short and it is in an odd position that might present fit issues to some people.
The tips included are not good. I have read no review that has ever praised them or said they are ok, and I could not achieve a good seal with any of the ones included, even though they seem to have upgraded them from the previous version, but again YMMV. I achieved the best fit and sound using the spinfits CP100, (you can get them on Linsoul as well, and I highly recommend getting them together).
The cable is ok; it gets the job done. The problem I found is that it is a tangles very easily. Every time I wanted to listen, it took me a good 3 to 5 minutes of fiddling with the cable, and even more when in the dark. I suggest using an old credit card as a cable wrapper or something similar to avoid these issues. I ended up replacing the cable since I already had one lying around. Any standard 2 pin cable will work.

Sound
Bass
The bass is the sound feature that stands out the most in these set. The bass is very good, very extended and is quite enjoyable. However, I find it is a bit too boosted for my taste and sometimes it can sound muddy with some tracks. I also had the impression, that with some bass drum heavy track, the driver might be working a bit too hard to deliver, but overall it is very well done. I am sure most people will like it.
Mids
Mids sound very natural, they are fairly controlled and are quite enjoyable. They are not forward, but they are not left far behind. Vocals are very good, there is good separation of frequencies so they won't overshadow any other instruments. I enjoy them a lot mainly with male vocals, but high-pitched voices sometimes can sound a bit screechy.
Treble
The treble is decent, not the best in the world, but it is good enough considering the price. The treble is very enjoyable and relaxing. If you are going to be listening to genres with a lot of instruments and with a lot of details such as jazz, you are going to enjoy them for sure. It provides enough detail to give you good imaging and positioning of the instruments without fatiguing. You can listen for hours.
Soundstage and imaging are average.

Conclusion
I was surprised by the sound of the Blons BL-03 and understood the hype behind them. It's a nice-sounding set but needs some upgrades (mostly eartips) to get them to fit properly, so you will have to include them into the price.
I highly recommend the Blons BL-03 to anyone that wants to dip their toes in the audio hobby or is looking for a budget iem. It is a safe and well tuned set, with enough details to give you a fun listening experience.
