I own Shure SE215 Ltd. edition from 2016 like many others in this iem hobby. Since then, and before that, I've had iems like Ultimate Ears UE200, Vsonic GR07BE, Original KZ ATE, Vsonic VSD3S, TFZ Galaxy T2, Tin Hifi T4 and some other iems as well that I can't remember now.
However, none of these iems can't provide the same sound signature with better technicalities (soundstage and imaging) than SE215. Some got better details, some better bass/treble/mids. But not a single one has the better technicalities preserving the same warm smooth sound signature with even better instrument separation or soundstage.
Shure SE215 has heavy downfalls - like it's boomy bass, lack of treble extension and veiled sound. That's why for many it's a common quest to find a better SE215. Which iem do you guys think is an actual upgrade to Shure SE215 in terms of technicalities while having the same sound signature?
