You can get this iem here -> Tin Hifi T4 from Linsoul

I am not a professional reviewer, but I will try to do a fair review of it. I purchased the T4 on the launch date and used it almost a year.
Unboxing
The T4 comes with a nice set of accessories and everything feels and looks of good quality. The tips are very good, so good in fact that I used them with other iems. The cable looks great and I dont find it to have any microphonics, the only complain is that has a rubbery feeling to it and it can get sticky sometimes depending on the clothes you are wearing. The 3.5 jacks looks very well made. The iem itself is made of soft metal, I don't know what metal they used but is prone to scratches and nicks, but overall they look and feel solid. However there is a major flaw I will revisit later.
Fit
I find this iem need a deep insertion to get the best sound out of it. but since they have a very short stem sometimes is quite difficult. I found the double flanged Spin Fits to be the best for them.
Sound
- Bass: the t4 has very good extension down to the subbass region. the bass is present but not overwhelming, a bit loose but not muddy. I am not a basshead but I like to know the bass is there. Depending on the track it will let you know when the artists meant you to hear it. I find it very balanced to my taste, in fact much better in quality than the bl03.
- Mids: I find female vocals to be a bit forward in the mix, sometimes they can sound a bit boxy but it all depends on the track. male vocals are very well balanced and nicely blended in the mix wich sometimes can not be ideal. I will say that it works with 98% of the tracks I have listened to. Distorted guitars sound amazing, in fact the best I have heard. I will definitely recommend it if you listen to a lot of metal music, you can really feel the grunge like if you were near the guitar cabinet.
- Treble: very clean, I wouldn't say highly detailed but good enough. it is very well extended and has a nice roll off.
- Soundstage and imaging is below average. but instrument separation is very good.
Issues
The t4 comes with a few compromises:
- The vent holes can clog up easily. you have to clean them every time after you use them. I mean you should clean all your iems after you use them but this one you have to make sure there is no earwax near the vent holes that can harden and clog them. If you have a clogged vent you will notice a channel imbalance. it can be fixed by carefully cleaning it but that's something to be aware of.
- Bad mmcx connectors. I had the left channel constantly dropping because of its connector. at first I thought it was the cable, but after 3 brand new cables and the ring expansion fix I can confirm is the connector in the iem itself. This is very annoying since it fails in the middle of your favorite track and that disrupts the whole listening experience. That's the only reason I decided to retire it which is a real shame. If Tin decides to release a 2 pin version I will 100% recommend it. in fact I would get another pair.
Conclusion
Soundwise the t4 is a very good sounding iem in its price range, accessories are nice plus and the finish is fantastic but cant recommend it unless the mmcx connector issue is addressed by Tin.
