Disclaimer
I recently received the BLON Z200 iem from Linsoul, courtesy of their Soul Rewards Giveaway club. This will be my third ever review after joining this club. I’ve previously reviewed KZ-EDX Ultra and the BLON Fat Girl iems, and will be reviewing the BLON Z200 iem also as an beginner/entry level iem as it is priced at $20.99 USD.
Design & Fit
The quality of the BLON Z200 is great for the price, the aesthetic in my opinion is the best out of the three I reviewed. The zinc black alloy housing looks great with a nice bronze etched design. Although I have only had them for a short time the iem also feel reasonably durable for the price. For the comfort and fit, I found that the shape and size of earbuds and the default ear tips to be good straight out of the box, much better sizing compared to other beginner/entry level iems due to its size. When compared to the other two iems I’ve reviewed in the past the KZ-EDX is too big while the BLON Fat Girl is missing the hook, whereas the Z200 comes out on top with its smaller compact size with a comfortable earhook.
Sound
After going through a list of different songs with the BLON Z200, I found it to have a strong bass for its price. In my opinion, the BLON Z200 has a good bass but it sometimes bleeds into the mids. The mids were warm but it could use some improvement as some song vocals especially female vocals lacked definition and weight. The highs were pretty good overall no complaints.
The bass and highs are the iem's greatest strength and the mids could use some work. For $20.99 USD the BLON Z200 is a decent entry level iem. From a recommendation standpoint, and after reviewing two other entry level iems I would rank the Z200 in the middle when it comes to sound but at the top when it comes to comfort and fit.
